Is an interesting medieval town located nearby
Sorano. In the
past it was an Etruscan town
under the
administration of Vulci. At only 2 km
far from Sovana,
do not miss the Etruscan
necropolis with a
large number of nice tombs
honeycombed in
the tuff rock,
dated back to IV-III
century B.C.....
And yet: Montemerano, Manciano, Scansano
(where the well-known red wine "Morellino" is made)
